The word " COSPLAY " is short and joining of the words "Costume Play" (COS: Costume / PLAY: Play), so if we translate this English, means "Costume Play."
Cosplay The word is simply term used by fans of Anime and Manga to call people who dress up as characters from anime / manga.
The origin of this custom was given in Japan, who used the term to describe COSPLAY that they made those fans who appeared at conventions or wherever you put together a number of otaku, disguised their favorite characters. The
use their cosplays otakus (costumes) take pride in anime conventions or events, to have fun playing the anime or manga character of the leading costume.
One of the main characteristics of Cosplay, costumes is that using these otaku ( cosplayers) at conventions, are made by themselves, so one should consider the effort they put them on each costume using their creativity to produce as close as possible with the character which you want to disguise.
